Hey, I'm Izanami, but alot of you guys will know me as Rach.

I started 'Izanami' as my alternate name for whenever I wanted to play FPS games, to hide away as an alternate person and to be able to be free and do what I would like, with no team to be under my control. In 2020, I picked up a Quest 2, like most people did during the pandemic, and lockdown. I quickly discovered the Virtual Reality game 'VRChat' and the small rave and music community in this platform. From this, I took an indefinite break from competitive esports, and for the first time, I felt free in my own skin and always enjoyed the wide variety of music, the passion and love that everyone had in this community.

During these past few years, I discovered my deep love and passion for Drum and Bass music. Everyone I knew at the time in real life was not a fan of this kind of music, which made me resonate with my alias Izanami. When I was not at uni or gaming I would work on bootlegs of my favorite drum and bass tracks, and practicing my DJing skills when i started mixing in the summer of 2022. 

With Izanami, my goal is to share my passion and love for drum and bass, through my production and my sets. I hope you love the stuff I create as much as I do.
